Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for Beach Lovers

With the holiday season quickly approaching and cold weather settling in around the northern hemisphere I bet just about everyone is dreaming of a winter escape to somewhere tropical. Whether you're off to celebrate the New Year at a blissful beach or counting the days for the warm weather to return I've rounded up my beach essentials which will make fantastic gifts for the beach lovers in your life. Most of these items are under $50 and everything is less than $150. There are also special discounts inside just for Miss Filatelista readers! And yes, I realize nearly everything I own is millennial pink which is a fading trend but I don't care, I love all things rose gold.

No matter where I am I always have an essential oil in my bag to stay fresh both physically and mentally throughout the day. The beach is no exception, especially considering that any sort of oil can help repel sandflies, just be sure to apply after your sunscreen has properly dried. My favorite essential oils are from ADORAtherapy, I can't get enough of their Chakra Boost collection. The natural fragrance is made in the USA with essential oils that are 100% natural, organic, and vegan. They're also travel size and have a super tight roll-on applicator that won't leak in your bag. Choose from playful options that awaken your chakras such as my personal favorite, Vitalitywith an infusion organic lavender, cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood. bergamot, and roman chamomile, Beautiful with blood orange, ylang-ylang, and geranium, or Joy, with gardenia, bergamot, ylang-ylang, neroli, rose, and jasmine. Dab onto your neck, temples, wrists, and chakra centers to stay centered and smell divine, especially after a sweaty day basking in the sun!

As a holiday treat for Miss Filatelista readers can receive 20% off using discount code LOLA20 for any purchase on ADORAtherapy.com.

Dune Jewelry combines my love for meaningful jewelry created by craftswomen and all things related to the beach. From the bespoke collection, I chose the 14-karat gold delicate oval stacker ring trio which I filled with sand from three beaches that are near and dear to my heart. Swimwear certainly isn't required at all beaches but for your gal pals that won't be rocking their birthday suit at the shore anytime soon you absolutely must get her a Mer Culture swimsuit. The luxurious materials are carefully crafted to have the most flattering fits for all body types. I feel incredibly confident when I wear the Mashrabiya Bra Top and Strappy High-Waist Bottom–something that isn't easy for me to achieve in swimwear. Honestly, I've never seen a more flattering bikini bottom, the cut is thick on the hips and narrow on the booty, a combination for a killer beach bum. The swim line is designed in Hong Kong by one of my best friends, Natasha J. Cotton, who generously offers free shipping worldwide!

My top beach bag must have is the Chafe Zone Chub Rub anti-chafe stick. Nothing is worse than inner thighs that have rubbed so raw they sting in salt water. I like to walk along the beach aimlessly and without this magic stick my thighs would start burning almost immediately. It is seriously long loasting–I've worn it for 10 hours in 95-degree heat in Malaysia and only had to reapply three times. Plus it is tiny, about 2.5 inches by 1 inch, so it hardly takes up any room in my purse and is carry on friendly. It's also made in the USA. I like to support products that are made in America, they're more sustainable as they have less mileage and create jobs.

I am obsessed with my Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM portable Bluetooth speaker. It is the loudest thing ever with super clear sound. It is really compact and lightweight and is always in my beach bag so I can listen to my favorite tunes on the beach–usually, Bob Marley is my tropical jam. The speaker is actually waterproof and can float in water! Just be sure to connect it to your floaty or swimsuit so it doesn't get lost at sea.

Regardless of my destination I always bring my favorite pair of Covry shades to protect my eyes from harmful sun rays. I have the Electra Stardust pair that literally let me see life through rose-colored lenses which have 100% UV protection. The beautiful eyewear collection was created in New York City by my ultra creative friend and former coworker, Florence Shin. I couldn't be more proud of her for creating innovative glasses with an elevated fit–on the website each style showcases what each frame will look like on different face shapes.

A product that has seriously changed the way I travel is my Wander Wet Bag.  After a day at the beach toss your wet swimsuit into the darling bag to keep the rest of the items in your beach bag nice and dry. These bags are foolproof–I've literally put soaking wet bikinis into my Wander Wet Bag and then into my luggage and have never had a leak. The bags are made in America with an eco-friendly fabric that is breathable so nothing inside the bag will mildew. I also use the bag to keep dirty laundry separated from my clean clothes as it is super smell repellent. The beachy patterns are so gorgeous, I carry my starfish design often as a clutch.

If you're looking for a few other goodies to make the ultimate beach bag holiday gift add in some mineral sunscreen like Sunology (which won't damage coral reef), 100% pure aloe vera for after sun care, a peacock float (swans and unicorns are so last summer), a BPA free water bottle to keep her hydrated, and stuff it all into a nautical eco-friendly drawstring beach bag. If anyone wants to send me this beach swag for the holidays let me know and I'll send you my address in Chiang Mai!

Some of these products were gifted to me but I use them each and every time I go to the beach, and most other days as well! All opinions and photos are my own. This post contains affiliate links, please read the Miss Filatelista disclosure policy for more information.
